Welcome, Team Captain!

Thank you for registering for the 30^th annual Down Syndrome Festival and 5K as a Team Captain! You will join more than 6,000 friends and family as we come together to raise funds and awareness for people of all ages with Down syndrome. We have an exciting and fun day planned for everyone!

This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 5th, at the Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W. Reno Ave., Oklahoma City. We are excited to celebrate the day as we walk and run to show support for our families and all individuals with Down syndrome. This year's event includes a 5k with a virtual and in-person option followed by an awareness walk, food trucks, and many new fun and exciting vendors and entertainment.

This information will help you with participation and fundraising efforts for the 2024 Festival and 5K. As we celebrate our 30^th event, we are asking you to help us reach our goal of $220,000, which will allow the organization to continue to provide valuable programs, services, and resources to members.

Your participation in the Down Syndrome Festival & 5K will help DSACO to "raise awareness and provide resources, as well as promote acceptance and inclusion for people with Down syndrome." So, get your team members signed up, grab your team t-shirts and let's get started!  We are so grateful for your support and look forward to celebrating with you safely on Saturday, October 5, for the Down Syndrome Festival and 5K!
